Sean was instrumental to our company during our formative years, including preparing us to raise our initial round of venture capital. What I appreciated most in working with Sean was that he acted more like a partner than a lawyer watching the clock. He always took the time to explain things in non-legalese, which was greatly appreciated. He also helped us avoid many of the pitfalls early-stage companies fall into, the true value of which we didn’t realize until years later.
